How Each Dollar Helps
Constant blood glucose monitoring, carb counting, insulin injections, and managing the highs and lows of blood sugar levels are daily realities for those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). With approximately 300,000 Canadians—roughly 1 in 133 people—living with T1D, it’s more common than you might think. Despite its prevalence, T1D can feel incredibly isolating.
That’s where programs offered by I Challenge Diabetes come in, providing critical support and a sense of community for those affected. These programs are life-changing, but they come with unavoidable costs. Every dollar raised helps cover these expenses for those that need financial support, ensuring no one is left behind in accessing the care and connection they need.
