Simeon’s connection with I Challenge Diabetes
My journey with I Challenge Diabetes began in the spring of 2022 at a leadership retreat in Canmore, AB. For the first time, I met others who shared my condition, ending the isolation I had felt in my struggles. Later that year, I was fortunate to move to Ontario, where I joined the sports camp team during the summer of 2022. Since the summer of 2023, my primary role has been as an adventure leader, where I help people with diabetes connect, challenge and explore.
